Hello and welcome,
My name is Claudia Bartosik, and I started my true enjoyment of cooking at age 13. Around that time I discovered my love of good parties and experimenting with food. My first dinner party was for 24 people!
I grew-up in North Yorkshire, and went to Winkfield College and took the Cordon Blue Course at 16 to 17 years old.
Over the years my gastronomy spread far and wide, taking me from cooking in private houses in Scotland, to working and living in London.
From then on I worked for various companies in the City until I had my first of three children (who are now all grown-up). Hoare Govett Ltd, Kirkland and Whittaker, and the Mexican Bank Invalat are just some of the organisations I worked for in the City.
In 1992 I established my company Creative Cooks Ltd which was an agency to organise parties, House parties, catering and domestic staff – All of which I have enjoyed.
In 1995 I took a contract for two schools to cater for a total of 580 between the two which was a life changing experience. Teaching children healthy eating and food is fun. Many of the parents asked me to cater for their children’s parties and large adult parties.
Over the years my business has expanded to cater for all possible events.
I have also developed a strong understanding of dietary requirements for people and as a business have been keen to promote a passion for healthy eating.
I always try to use the best of what is in season, and source it from local, sustainable, trusted vendors.
Currently I am also presenting on a new WebTV show for cooking and discussing healthy eating.
